Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel Nurse to join our team. As a Travel Nurse, you will have the opportunity to travel to various healthcare facilities and provide high-quality patient care. This is a dynamic role that offers flexibility and the chance to gain valuable experience in different healthcare settings.
Duties:
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and medical procedures
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs, assess symptoms, and document patient progress
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Assist with family planning and education on reproductive health topics
- Perform sterile processing of medical instruments and equipment
- Conduct basic life support procedures in emergency situations
- Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture procedures as needed
- Ensure proper documentation of patient records and maintain confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Valid nursing license (RN or LPN) in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in ICU or ambulatory surgery center settings
- Proficient in conducting patient assessments and providing appropriate care interventions
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and work effectively in diverse healthcare settings
